Bosses are large enemies with much more health, has more complex AI and gives player a challenge. Defeating bosses always grants rewards that help progressing the game. Most bosses do not spawn naturally on their own, and thus require their respective boss summoning item to initiate the fight.

In Expert Mode, each boss has their own Treasure Bag which contains unique items only exclusive to Expert Mode and additional items. However, Expert Mode bosses have increased stats and sometimes have more difficult AI and can be challenging to players.
